POLICIES
While Camping or Visiting YOGI BEAR’S JELLYSTONE PARK™ CAMP-RESORT of Grayling, Michigan we do have some reminders that we would like all guests of the campground to please note before their arrival and during their stay to maintain a comfortable and fun environment for all of our guests!
CAMPER POLICY: Our campsites and rental units are designated for one immediate family (parent/guardian, dependent children) per campsite only. The number of adults and children on your campsite must be reported at the time of reservation. Any changes to this number must be notified through phone, prior to arrival. Extra fees are per extra camper on your site.
EXTRA TENTS: Campsites and Rental Units are designed for one camping unit only per site. Therefore, extra family-size tents are not allowed on a site with a trailer, motor home, or rental unit.
WRISTBANDS: Registration is required for everyone upon entry to the park. WRISTBANDS will be issued to every person entering the park and must be worn the entire stay (Campers, Visitors and Day Use).
DAY USE: For those that would like to visit the park and utilize our facilities for the day, we offer this Sunday: 12PM--9PM, and Monday thru Thursday: 10AM--9PM. Cost is $5 per person, and includes use of our pool, playgrounds, and jumping pillow. Day Use is limited availability and does not include holidays or particular weeks, please call ahead prior to arrival.
VISITORS: You are welcome to have visitors while camping with us but please remember that all guests must register and pay a visitors fee. ALL visitors must leave the park by 9PM. A limit to the number of visitors and vehicles is enforced; please call ahead for details.
CANCELLATION POLICY:Please read carefully! Campsite fees are refundable less $10.00 administration fee, provided a 7 day notice is given. NO refunds given for cancellations less than 7 days or due to weather. Cabin and Trailer fees are refundable less a $25.00 administration fee, provided 14 day notice is given. No refunds given for less than 14 days or due to weather. Cancellations or reservation changes must be done by phone; they are not accepted via e-mail. Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore we do not give refunds due to the discomforts of nature, illness, or work schedules. This includes no shows and early checkouts. No Shows will be charged for the entire stay. E-mail confirmations sent after deposit is received, please review for accuracy. All reservations without paid deposit on reservation will automatically be cancelled. Sorry, no reminder calls.
QUIET HOURS: So that all our guests may enjoy a restful night’s sleep, quiet time is 11pm to 8am. We encourage camping courtesy 24 hours a day. Please no loud music, profanity, or abusive language. Respect other campers and do not cut thru occupied sites.
POOL: Adults must accompany children under 14. Swim diapers required for infants. No lifeguard on duty.
CAMPER GUESTS: Must register at office and pay before entering the park and depart by 9:00PM.
PETS: Must be leashed at all times and attended to at all times. Pets are not allowed on any rental unit sites (cabins, cottages, trailers). Please clean up and dispose of all pet wastes. Two dogs per site. Excessive barking and/or unruly behaviors will not be accepted.
SPEED LIMIT: 5½ MPH at all times. Children are at play.
PLEASE: Scooters, golf carts, dirt bikes, ATVs, or side-by-side vehicles are not allowed in the park.
PHOTOGRAPHS: Entrance to the park constitutes permission to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park to photograph the visitor while on the premises and to use the resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without payment to the visitor.
CAMPFIRES: Fires must be kept at a low level (under 18” high)and within the single fire ring provided, for the safety of you and other campers. Do not leave your fire unattended and extinguished before bed.
TRASH: Do not throw trash, food, plastic, diapers, dog waste or cans/bottles in or around fire rings. Violators will result in a clean-up surcharge.
PLEASE NOTE: The guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, swimming or boating at the Camp-Resort or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Camp-Resort and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
